Hopefully, knowing those four things, you're still interested in the game because if you are, I reiterate that in my opinion $8 is an absolute steal for the game.Digital Description Spec Ops: The Line PC game digital download, includes new Global Steam CD key ![]() Multiplayer is forgettable Spec Ops isn't praised because it did multiplayer right, it's praised for its single player. Expect a novel experience - not necessarily life altering or ground breaking, but one that you haven't seen before. Mostly because it's one of if not the only major game telling this story in this way. Without hesitation, the reason to own this game is the plotline - if it were a different story, it wouldn't be worth having. I won't say how in the event it hasn't been spoiled for you, but you can be completely certain there is more than meets the eye. It is doing its absolute best to make you think it is "a basic 3rd person squad shooter" so that it can mess with your expectations a bit. I personally don't consider this a problem because it doesn't take away from the game imo and actually adds a little bit from a certain perspective (exactly how would be a spoiler). It was made by a medium sized team with a less than medium sized budget they intentionally cut some corners and as a result it will feel a bit like a Third person shooter from several years ago both in control and appearance. At $8 I'd consider it a steal, but in the interest of full disclosure here are some things you should expect about the game (no spoilers): Spec Ops: The Line is probably one of my favorite games, but I completely understand why it might not be for some people.
